This course combines –applied theatre as a process of dynamic enquiry, mindfulness as a process of personal insight and group dynamics as a process of sharing and compassion to create a synergy of joyful and profound journeying into the heart of the matter.
The course is taught over 8 three-hour sessions with guided meditations and handy hacks to practice between sessions. The teacher will be available by email for any enquiries in-between sessions.
This is an 8 week course based on the Oxford Mindfulness Centre Curriculum that uses the famous Mark Williams and Danny Penman book – Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World. Delivered online with weekly 90 minute sessions this course also requires a minimum commitment of 20 minutes daily practice if you want to get the most out of it.
Playing with the Present is a new mindfulness curriculum developed by Iwan Brioc, drawing on his 30 years of experience in training educators internationally in creativity and mindfulness.
Aimed at ages 8+ Playing with the Present is a modular course guided by the principles of creative, participatory, and experiential learning. This program explores what cutting-edge neuroscience has to teach us about our mental well-being, in particular, Prof. Richard Davidson’s Emotional Styles and the ‘four pillars of well-being’.
